The book of Common Prayer, written in 1662 was a massively important book in the history of the Church of England and of the Anglican Church worldwide.  It remains a hugely important book today and many clergy refuse to use anything else.  It contains a wide rage of resources, various different services, for use in the Church of England.  Its solid theology has at times been something of a 'safe-haven' for those who bemoan the fickle and unbiblical behaviour going on in the C of E at the moment, and how the truths of scripture are being cast aside.  The BCP has been a uniting document for many though and many clergy and laity were unhappy with changes made in the liturgy and the new books brought in.  Click on the image or title to download in part or full.  You can also download any of the the Common Worship Books in Pdf, here
